Okay, before anyone gets me wrong here, when I say "wrong book", I do NOT mean the seller sent the wrong book. They sent the right book, but it turned out to not be the book I was looking for. I didn't really know how else to put it.We don't know the name of the book we're looking for, just that it contains a children's rhyme that my husband remembers from his childhood:
"If ice was hot and fire was not, would eskimoes wear bikinis?" and "If grandmas could fly across the sky, would grandpas know where to find them?"
We've been searching high and low for this book for when we have grandkids. Some I've been able to preview, enabling me to determine "yay or nay" without buying. Some, such as this one, didn't have previews available, so I just purchased them instead.
BUT the books that weren't matches aren't going to waste. They are going to be donated to my kids' old elementary school, where I used to be a teaching assistant, for their library. This way kids can still enjoy them! :)

Perfect book to hear all of the crazy 'what-ifs' your child has of their own! This book is the perfect length and a great way to get both you and your little one interacting in a creative way!
I have three nieces ages 3, 6.5 and 8.5 who love to read! I gave this book to the youngest of my three nieces and she was delighted by it. And, since her older sisters were often the ones reading to her, they thought it was funny to make up other "what if" scenarios! Very cute! This was a big hit!
As a side note, I gifted two other of Angela Winegar's titles to the older two nieces The Music Man's Piano Prodigy and Missy's Memoirs Was a perfect gift and the messages in both were spot on! They especially liked how Missy's Memoirs was written from a dog's perspective!
This is a well written, thought-provoking children's book. It's fun to read with my own children, and I hear parents reading it to their kids in our medical office waiting room. Everyone is smiling after reading this book! My 2 year-old likes how silly it is, and it makes him think "What If" about all sorts of things!
